Educational Licensing Requirements
State of Florida License # RS-9500001
On May 31, 2002 the Florida Department of State, Division of Licensing
issued a Policy Directive allowing for an alternative method for
Recovery Agent Training within the state. On June 5, 2002, the Florida
Edition of the Certified Asset Recovery Specialist® National Certification
Program received written approval from the Florida Department of
State, Division of Licensing, stating their program fulfills all
the educational requirements of the state. This will greatly enhance
and expedite the licensing procedure for those individuals seeking
to enter into the collateral recovery industry in Florida and those
agencies seeking new employees.
The steps for using the Certified Asset Recovery Specialist®, National
Certification Program for the statutorily required training in Florida
are simple.
- Purchasing of the program may be done online,
by fax, by mail or by phone using a master card, visa, check
or money order.
- Once received and studied, the student contacts our office by
phone or email to arrange for the final
online examination.
- Upon satisfactorily completing the program, the student or
applicant includes a photocopy of their certificate of training
with their state application.
Use of the book is permitted in taking the final exam. You are
allowed two (2) hours to complete the examination.
Those who have successfully completed the program will be listed
on the C.A.R.S.® agent locator once the graduate receives their "E"
or "EE" license.
It's as simple as that. No time spent in a class room, no expenses
incurred in travel, meals or lodging, no missed work. Study at your
own pace and always have your course available to you even after
completion. And also, after successful completion of the program,
you and your sponsoring agency will be listed on our agent
locator free of charge. That is worth putting
in your resume!
NOTE: The Certified Asset Recovery Specialist®, National Certification
Program is an alternative to the (40 hour) classroom training only.
It does not replace the one year internship or other licensing requirements
of the State of Florida.
